  1. How is LINKEDUP different from other job websites?

    LINKED UP is not a conventional job website. We are a Marketplace with Classified listings that make searches and referrals as easy as a click.

    The “recommendation economy” is increasingly important as a growing number of consumers/job seekers are tuning out traditional advertising and relying instead on their peers’ recommendations. We believe that changing the way we consume things can make life more meaningful, and the world a better place.

  2. How popular is LinkedUP and what is so special about it?

    LinkedUP is different from other job portals in 2 aspects. Firstly, we are a Market place and also a FREE job and Products Ad posting portal with no strings attached. Secondly, posting your job on LinkedUP not only means the job would get direct applications but also receive strong talent recommendation from our users.

  3. How do I create an account?

    To create an account, please click 'Sign in' and select the 'Register' tab. Fill out all required fields and click submit. This will then take you to your dashboard where you can post your job ad and manage applications.

  4. I do not have a LinkedUP account, why am I getting applicants through LinkedUP?

    As a value-added service to all recruiting companies, we are giving the first posting ad free to increase the mileage of your job advertisement in the marketplace. Your Ad will be published on LinkedUP to reach out to more users.

  5. How do I check if my job is posted successfully?

    To double check that the job was posted, click on "manage jobs". You should see the job title of the job that you have just posted.

    Upon successful submission of the job, you will receive an email confirmation that the job was posted.

  6. How long will my posting stay up?

    30 days. You'll get notifications that your job is expiring, provided you use a valid email address when you set up your employer profile.

  7. My job vacancy is already filled. Can I delete the ad (expire the ad prematurely)?

    You may do so by sending a request to [email protected] and we will help you expire it. Alternatively, you can set the ad to expire manually from the employer dashboard after logging in.

  8. What is the Multiple User feature?

    The Multiple user login allows multiple users of the same company to have their own login accounts to post jobs, ads, and manage applicants and enquires. Each company with a media package will be entitled to up to 8 subsidiary accounts.

  9. What is LinkedUP’s Referral program – recruitment and how it works?

    LinkedUP’s Referral is a user’s referral platform empowering our users’ database and your employees to share your job vacancies in LinkedUP’s job ad with their networks, generating more of your best potential talents, faster.

  10. How can a user participate in a referral program and become an advocate?

    LinkedUP’s referral platform enables anyone to easily make job referrals for colleagues and friends. A user can participate or be enrolled in your referral program and become an advocate by signing up for an account with LinkedUP.

  11. How does LinkedUP know that a referral has been made?

    Every Referral gets its own unique referral link to an Ad to share with their friends.

    The sharelink sends the user to our servers, on which we place a cookie with their referral code, before forwarding them to Ad detail page. We store this cookie for 3 months. This means that if a user follows the sharelink, but does not signs up immediately, we can still track the referral later.

  12. What is a referral link?

    A referral link is a link that is given out to each referral user who is invited to participate in your referral program. This link is unique to each advocate and appears in each advocate's Sharing Page.

    This link is used by our system to track sharing and referrals by advocates.

  13. What reports and statistics can I see for my campaign?

    The Referral program automatically tracks emails and social media sharings. It also provides detailed analytics about your campaign at both the campaign and advocate level. You can access this information from your account – My Referral page.

  14. What are your fees like and how do I reward incentives to my referrers?

    The referrals program reward is managed by LinkedUP system's back end. You are not required to do anything.

    You can opt for the following;

    a. Referral Program package - Based on the package you choose from
    b. Job Credit package - Job Credit rate applied.

    On referral program, we operate on a pay-per-hire model or pay-per-lead model with or without setup fee.

    c. With Set up of S$1000 - Upon placement of a successful candidate, Companies will be billed SGD$ 500.
    d. Without Set up Fee - Upon placement of a successful candidate, Companies will be billed 8% of Gross Annual Salary.

  15. Should I stop my referral program when I change my referral incentives

    There's no need for you to stop/ expire your referral program Job ad when you change your referral incentives. Simply drop us an email at [email protected] and we will take care of that.
